System Introduction
1. System composition
The DC solar submersible pump system is a deep well pumping
solution powered by solar energy, mainly consisting of the
following parts:
Solar panels: They convert solar energy into direct current energy
through the photoelectric effect. They are usually made of
monocrystalline silicon or polycrystalline silicon, and their power
is matched according to the requirements of the water pump (such as
100W to 1000W).
DC submersible water pump: It is driven by a DC motor (such as DC
12V/24V/48V), and the pump body can work submerged in deep Wells.
It features anti-corrosion and high-pressure resistance, and is
suitable for water Wells at depths of 50 to 300 meters.
The controller includes an MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking)
controller, which is used to optimize the power generation
efficiency of solar panels. It also features overload protection,
water shortage protection, short-circuit protection and other
functions.
Energy storage system (optional) : Some systems are equipped with
batteries (such as lead-acid batteries or lithium batteries) to
store excess electrical energy and support operation at night or on
cloudy days.
Pipelines and accessories: including water delivery pipes, check
valves, wellhead supports, etc., to ensure stable water flow
transportation.
2. Working Principle
During the day, after the solar panels generate electricity, they
directly drive the DC submersible water pump to work through the
controller, pumping well water to the surface water storage
facilities. If a battery is configured, the excess electrical
energy will be stored to maintain the operation of the water pump
when there is no light. The system does not require grid connection
and relies on solar energy to achieve self-sufficient pumping
operations.
System Characteristics

generated at a depth of 100 meters).
Solar panels: They have strong UV resistance and weather
resistance, and can still generate electricity stably in high or
low temperatures or sandy and dusty environments.
4. Intelligent control and easy maintenance
The controller integrates MPPT technology, which can automatically
track the maximum power point of the solar panel, increasing the
power generation efficiency by 15% to 30%.
The system is equipped with self-checking functions for faults
(such as shutdown due to water shortage and overcurrent
protection), reducing the cost of manual maintenance. The impeller
and pump body of the water pump are mostly made of stainless steel
or engineering plastics, which are corrosion-resistant and have a
long service life (usually up to 5 to 10 years).
5. Flexible configuration and strong scalability
The power of the solar panel and the model of the water pump can be
adjusted according to the well depth and flow rate requirements.
For example:
Well depth 50 meters, flow rate 5m³/h: Equipped with 200W solar
panel + DC 24V submersible pump;
Well depth: 200 meters, flow rate: 10m³/h: Equipped with 800W solar
panels + DC 48V high-head water pump.
Expandable energy storage systems or multiple sets of solar panels
connected in parallel can meet the water demand at different times.
